Each iindiiviidual fiiber has a polypropylene iinner core for strength, wiith a polyethylene wrap for softness. The liight gray color doesn't attract heat and the fabriic iis treated wiith UV iinhiibiitors for extended outdoor use. The miicro-porous fiilm miiddle layer iis a breathable fiilm and a propriietary stretch-fiilm technology developed exclusiively for Kiimberly-Clark. The fiilm iis stretched and then subjected to a chemiical process that creates miicroscopiic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moiisture vapor and heat to escape. Thiis helps reduce the bulk of the non-woven fabriic, whiile proviidiing an almost soliid barriier agaiinst the elements.
